Our 2023 Annual Report is now available, capturing a year marked by innovation and dedication to agroecology. This year, we’ve placed an emphasis on the profound impact that agroecology is having on communities throughout Tanzania. Through the commitment of farmers, pastoralists, and our partners, we continue to create a path toward sustainable farming systems that prioritize food security and environmental harmony.
In this report, we reflect on the progress made through projects such as the Dodoma Women in Agriculture and Business Initiative (DWABI), empowering women to become successful entrepreneurs and leaders in the community. We also show how post-harvest management has enhanced food security and created new economic opportunities within communities, or how the Farmer Centered Agroecology Research (FCAR) Project bridged local knowledge with academic research.
These and many more initiatives have not only strengthened farming practices but have also fortified local communities in their resilience against the increasing challenges posed by climate change. The collaboration, creativity, and dedication of those we work with have been key in driving these positive changes.
We invite you to explore our 2023 Annual Report and learn more about the impactful work being done to foster a more sustainable and resilient agricultural system. Thank you for your continued support and belief in the mission we share.
