Objective:

To enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the water supply system by replacing the current high-capacity water pump with a model that aligns with the borehole’s water yield.

Scope of Work:

1. Flushing the Borehole:

• Conduct thorough flushing of the borehole to eliminate sediment, debris, or blockages.
• Employ high-pressure water flushing techniques to ensure optimal water flow and cleanliness.
• Perform water quality testing after flushing to confirm compliance with standards for human consumption and irrigation purposes.

2. Replacing the Water Pump:

• Remove the existing high-capacity water pump.
• Supply and install a new water pump with the following specifications:
  • Pumping Capacity: 2,000 liters per hour.
  • Type: Submersible pump suitable for borehole use.
  • Energy Source: Electric-powered (single-phase or three-phase, depending on the power supply available).
  • Depth Compatibility: Compatible with the existing borehole depth (70 meters).
  • Material: Corrosion-resistant, stainless steel or equivalent.
  • Control Panel: Equipped with a programmable control panel for simplified operation and maintenance.

• Install additional fittings, including non-return valves, pressure gauges, and flow meters,to ensure efficient operation.
• ‍Test the newly installed pump to validate its performance and functionality.

Deliverables: The successful bidder will be required to deliver the following:

1. Borehole Flushing Report:
   • A detailed report including water quality test results post-flushing.
2. ‍Pump Installation Report:
   • ‍ A comprehensive report covering the specifications of the new pump and results of performance tests.
3. User Manual and Maintenance Guidelines:
   • ‍Clear and detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of the newly installed water pump.

Eligibility Requirements:

• ‍Valid company registration and relevant licenses.
• ‍Proven experience in borehole maintenance and pump installation.
• ‍Technical capacity to deliver the specified work within the agreed timeframe.
• ‍Adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Submission Guidelines: Interested and eligible companies are invited to submit their proposals, including the following:

• ‍Company profile and past relevant experience.
• ‍Technical approach and methodology.
• ‍Financial proposal including a breakdown of costs.
• ‍Project timeline and work plan.
